Температура абсолютно черного тела, при которой относительные распределения спектральной плотности энергетической яркости этого тела и данного источника максимально близки в видимой области спектра.

Температура излучателя Планка (черного тела), при которой его излучение имеет ту же цветность, что и излучение рассматриваемого объекта, К.

цветовая температура
Величина, характеризующая цвет света, излучаемого объектом при его нагреве. Эта величина выражается в градусах абсолютной шкалы (градусах Кельвина). Низкие значения по шкале Кельвина, например 2400 K соответствуют красной области спектра; более высокие, например 9300 K – синей области спектра. Нейтральной температурой является 6504 K – белый цвет. Мониторы Philips обычно позволяют выбирать температуры 9300 K, 6500 K или пользовательскую.

цветовая температура
Определяет цветовой тон. Выведена из фотографии, где цветовой спектр основан на сравнении тонов при изменении цвета при нагревании черного тела (как в физике) от красного до желтого, а затем до синего, самого горячего. Цветовая температура измеряется в градусах Кельвина.
